For semi-automatic grinding/polishing of mounted samples, several models are available to meet sample size, volume (for production) output from small to high output. These models feature pneumatic powerheads that provide sample movement and application of force and are easily programmed for consistency and repeatability.
For precision applications, the MultiPrep™ system offers unique capabilities for small sample sizes where quantitative removal and sample control is necessary. The OptiPrep™ is uniquely designed for production polishing of optical components.
Manual grinder/polishers are the most economical solution for labs looking to prepare one (1) to fifty (50) samples per week.

MetPrep 3x™
Semiautomatic
The MetPrep 3x™ supports 8″ or 10″ platens and pairs with the PH-3™ for three individual force positions (ideal for smaller batches) or the PH-4™ for four positions and greater capacity.
