Mounting Equipment & Accessories
Superior quality hot and cold mounting systems for every application.
Choosing the right mounting method depends on several factors.
TechPress 3x™
Hot Mounting
This mounting method is chosen mostly for high volume output where the cost per mold is much lower than with cold resins. Typical output is two (2) mounts in about 8-10 minutes per cycle. Used for hot compression mounting powders.
VacuPrep™
Cold Mounting
The VacuPrep™ vacuum impregnation system is used to remove bubbles from epoxy resins, filling open pores and cavities in samples to provide maximum bonding and support. It is available in a standard model or a turntable model.
PC-200™
Cold Mounting
This pressure chamber is used to suppress the formation of bubbles when mounting with either epoxy or acrylic resins. This pressure chamber accommodates oversized silicone mounting cups, a large quantity of round cups, or multiple PCB molds.
BL-100
Cold Mounting
The BL-100 is a blue-light chamber designed to cure BL-Cure and other UV/light-curing resins. It features a sliding drawer with a 5 × 5 in (125 × 125 mm) glass platform, accommodating molds up to 2.5 in (63 mm) in size for efficient curing.
Extraction Press
Cold Mounting
The Mount Extraction Press is used to help push out cured resin mounts from either 2-part or PCB mold cups. It features a large, stable base with a linear slide mechanism that is operated by hand to easily push the cured resin mold from the mounting cup.
