A low speed saw for cutting smaller, delicate samples
The TechCut 4x™ is a precision low speed saw designed to cut small or delicate samples that cannot tolerate increased heat from friction caused by high speed sectioning.
A 3.5″ color LCD touchscreen is used to control all functions with an intuitive interface optimized for efficiency. The pivoting cutting arm has adjustable weights to apply or counterbalance downward force to the sample during sectioning. Cutting fluid is drawn from the reservoir by the blade to cool the sample. With a 3″ to 6″ blade range, samples up to 2″ thick can be sectioned.
Variable speed: 10−500 RPM, with 5 adjustable presets
Micrometer sample indexing with 2 μm resolution
Spring-retractable dressing stick attachment
Optical shut-off sensor with adjustable stop
